Dllregisterserver failed

Ran into this one today while configuring MSN for a customer:

In MSN, if you clicked the mail icon, then it would just bring up a box where you were to download the MSN.Mailhost9 file. This is an issue, because MSN should be opening the mailhost9 file. I tried to register the MailUI.DLL file, but it didn’t work. I got the error: Dllregisterserver in c:\progra~1\msn\msncorefiles\mailui.dll failed. Return code was: 0x80070005.

Now, supposedly this error occurs if you don’t have write access to that part of the registry. I didn’t know that at the time, so perhaps the account I was logged into didn’t have sufficient rights. I’ll try it as an administrator next time I’m there, or I’ll see if I can modify that users privileges.
